dude, thanks so much. Glad to know I am not the only one who thinks its kick ass. Kieth is going today to get 3 bolt flanges for the motorcage so when i pull the motor, all i have to do is unbolt those flanges and the cross bars come right out. I will be going back out Wednesday to snag some pics and finish up the rear.

no idea. We bent everything with a manual bender. eyeballed it, bent it, test fit, bent it a little more. Just kept doing that until we got all 4 tubes bent. Each piece started at a 36" piece. Not sure of the length now.

finally got an update.... Its still not done, but this sucker has some travel!!

Here is a look at just how much travel this thing will have. You can see the rear in the top picture is maxed out and sits about 6 inches higher than the front.

Thanks man. I have been watching almost all the swaps on many different forums, and I will have to toot my horn a little by saying its one of the more complex SAS builds. I only wanted to do a simple swap like most do, but the guy doing all the welding and who is helping with building the truck made a very good point. he told me, "Your gonna spend all this money and have what you want. For a little bit (wow he lied) more, you can have something totally kick ass." You tell a redneck he has a choice between totally kick ass and something cheaper, whats he gonna do?

I have been watching almost all the swaps on many different forums...
so have you ever heard of anyone doing a sas and loosing power to their dash lights and tail lights? my blinkers, reverse lights, and brake lights all work, but both my tail lights wont. i also have fog lights hooked up to a stock switch on my dash and those dont work either. ever heard of such a thing?

and are you going to be running your stock transfer case? and does your front drive shaft extend and compress from the transfer case, or on the driveline itself?
