Hello, Folks
I am working on my upcoming spring project of converging my 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 2.3 liter auto with my 1995 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer XLT 4x4 5.8 liter and needing to know where I am suppose to to post about a thread such as this one? Where to get insight from others whom have done this sort of swap, whom have failed, and whom have been successful?
I see this sort of swap done all the time done with Chevrolet's S-10's sitting on Blazer chassis's so not do it with a Bronco chassis & drive-line with Ranger Body.
I have excellent mechanical, technical, skills & knowledge. I am very knowledgeable around my vehicles, I can weld to get the job done, and it be better then needed to perform to design and function just not always the prettiest to look at and hold. But no one will be driving my welds but me, so if someone don't like welds then can look away. Not sure what else to tell you at this point, so
Thanks in advance for any direction as to where I am to go for insight and direction within this website & forum. Have a great day!

Well if all you want to do is converge the two vehicles then just park them next to each other and be done with it. No technical skills or even tools needed.

Sure it is. Converge just means to move towards each other. Now if you want to merge them, that is a whole different deal. Far more complicated.

Welcome! You can start a build thread to share your progress and insights as well as check out other build threads for inspiration....there's some really cool projects on here. Here's a link to the Off-Road and Ranger 4x4 builds

1983-2011 Off-Road & 4x4 Ford Ranger's

And one for non Ranger Based Vehicles (RBV) if you consider your project more Bronco than Ranger.

Non RBV Build Threads

Good Luck! And post lots of pictures.

con·verge
kənˈvərj/
verb
verb: converge; 3rd person present: converges; past tense: converged; past participle: converged; gerund or present participle: converging
1.(of lines) tend to meet at a point.
"a pair of lines of longitude are parallel at the equator but converge toward the poles"
synonyms: meet, intersect, cross, connect, link up, coincide, join, unite, ~~merge~~

I am not here for a stupid English lesson, sorry I am not as college educated & as smart as you are, laugh at me I don't care, I know what I am trying to say (and pretty sure anyone else NOT "trying to harass or test the new guy understood exactly what was being said") and the Websters Dictionary vouched for the definition of "CONVERGE" and even provided the synonym
(syn·o·nym
ˈsinəˌnim/
noun
noun: synonym; plural noun: synonyms
a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language)
"MERGE" which means the exact same thing as "CONVERGE"
So before you go bullying the uneducated new guy test yourself before before he checks you!

Thank you I have been looking none of which have stood out directly through searches, or just scrolling the help groups, Do you have or remember any Help group thread titles to lead me in the correct direction?

The search engine on this site isn't great. If you use the "google custom search" bar at the top of the page you'll have better results.
