HI everyone I am a new member to the forum but Ive been reading your threads for 3 years now. It's been very helpful for me to see what everyone is talking about and how to fix them.
Ive run into a problem with my 2002 Ford ranger xlt extended cab 2wd with 4.0 engine and a automatic transmission.
I want to swap a 95 to current year ford explorer 8.8 disc brake rear end into my truck.
I know that the explorer has a 3.73 gear ratio and i am running a 3.55 gear ratio.
I just want to ask all what i have to do to take the ford explorer rear end drop it out and just re- weld the shock mounts. Then put it in my truck. I just wanted to ask everyone if they had problems with this swap-thanks Anthony
