does anyone know if a 1994 explorers front and rear axles are plug and play with the 1987 rangers mounts? any advice will be helpful

Front yes, rear no. Rangers and BII are spring over axle and have the shock tabs welded to the tubes, Explorer is spring under axle, so the spring pads have to be moved, and the Explorer's shock tabs are part of the lower plate that bolts under the spring to hold the axle in, so they have to be added to the tube to use an Explorer axle.
