Never understood why so many people pull out a 2.9 and swap in a 5.0 with a carb when keeping the efi is so easy. My buddy Dan was doing a 5.0 swap into his 1990 2.9 Bronco2 and I showed him how easy the conversion is to keep fuel injection.

Dan started with a Foxbody spec {92 mustang} 5.0 with its donor cars matching harness and ecm. He pulled the 2.9/a4ld out and the engine harness. Then using all James Duff parts he swapped in the 5.0 and c4.....from there we made a short vid on how to wire it. Neither one of us could think of or find any good info on doing this so we decided to make this in the hopes it might help someone else.

Do u have a video for a 1995 mustang V8 into a 87 ranger with 2.3l engine? Or is wiring similar in your bronco 2 video?

seems to be enough wiring info on swapping mustang 5.0s or mercury 5.0s in rangers and bronco 2's, but pretty much no info on using an f150 5.0. It is at the point where its quite hard to find a mustang 5.0 in the wrecking yard where i'm from, let alone find a wrecking yard.
So, I bought an f150 with a running 5.0 and i'm gonna swap it. I'm using a 91 speed density truck engine and i'm wondering how different it is to the car set up.
I guess the big question is how to go about it. I've got the engine bay harness from my bronco 2(1990) and the ecm harness. Does one use the bronco harness and jump all the f150 stuff u need into the bronco harness or use the f150 harness and plug it right into the big dash plug and re-pin everything that's needed?
Based on reading and watching videos that people do is they jump the f150 harness into the ranger one where necessary. Any thoughts or info that i've missed?
