take a 3-4 foot piece of pipe, drill a 1/2" hole near the end and bolt it to the
yolk or flange. brace pipe against frame or driveway, or just hold it. rotate tool until it hits the pipe and pull. works in great going on or taking off. you may have to drill the hole offset depending on pipe size.
same principle can be adapted to remove water pump pulley bolts. there you use a wrench instead of the pipe.
