I live in southern Orange county, and I dont know the area that well yet, in terms out off road trails.
I've always been wondering where a good place to go is around where I live. I live in southern Orange County, San Clemente, Ca to be exact. My buddy and I take out trucks out to Holly Jim's trail every now and then. It's not too much excitement, actually, our first time out there we saw some piece of crap Honda driving the trail, bouncin around a bottoming out, but making it. Theres little things that go off the trail, but other than that, to make it rough, you have to make it rough.
I've been wondering/looking about other trails in my area, preferably within an hour or two, Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead, Ortega?? Both our trucks dont have 4 wheel drive, so whe can only do so much. I've heard of Anza Berrago stat desert. Dont know much about it. Basically, with my truck, stock, the way it is, I want a trail for me and my buddy to go offroading on, and do what out trucks can handle, know where it is before we go and not get lost trying to find it, not get stuck, if we do get stuck, its popular enough that some one will come along and be able to help us. We dont have 4WD, so we cant do that much.
Any one know about any trails in our area to go have fun on?
