1998 3.0 manual 4x4. 300K+
Clutch pedal had been working perfectly for the year I’ve had the truck, have checked clutch reservoir fluid level but have not needed to add any fluid in that time.
A couple days ago as I was slowing for a stop sign there was a bit of a squeal from the transmission area and then when I pressed the clutch pedal I could tell it had much less resistance than normal. I took off from the stop and on the 1-2 shift the clutch pedal went to the floor and gave me nothing. I had to rev match to get home. When I got home I checked fluid levels and the clutch fluid was still full. The pedal is dead until maybe the last 1/2” of travel on the floor.
My guess is slave cylinder, but I’m no hydraulic clutch expert. Does anyone have any suggestions?
