I will first say that it is on my Dakota but It's still an exhaust review.

I purchased this muffler through Horsepowerfreaks for $135. It is full stainless with a polished exterior. 3030 designates a 3" inlet and 3" outlet. The Aero turbine is unlike any other muffler, it is straight through yet it uses no packing and incorporates a aerofoil cone and louvers into the design.

I installed it by welding it in place of the 40 series Flowmaster I was running before.

When I first started it it sounded very similar to the 40 series, yet after 2500-3000 RPMs it's a whole new beast. It is much louder when you stomp on it and a much more aggressive sound yet when I'm cruising down the freeway I can hardly hear it unlike the Flowmaster, it's quite enjoyable. There was also a noticeable small performance increase around 4000 RPMs.

A friend also recently installed an AT 2525 on his Toyota with a 22re and I must say it sounds damn good for a 4 banger.

Another friend of mine (forum member "Grunizzle") is probably getting one for his 4.0 ranger soon so I'll be sure to post up sound clips.

My only complaint is the price, I wish they're sell an unpolished version to bring down the cost a little.

I give it a 9.5 out of 10

Here's a picture of it installed and a couple videos.

Sounds beastly, but I don't think I'd ever pay that much for a muffler

It's worth the money. I just drove my truck nearly 2000 miles and cruising down the freeway was nice and peaceful. I love how it can be so obnoxious on command and be so tame when it needs to be.
Here's one on my friends 4.0 ranger.

I have the AeroTurbine 3535XL on my F-150 with a supercharged 5.4L and its the best sounding and quality muffler I have ever owned!! Well worth it!! Think I paid little under 200 for mine.

I really would like to put the 2525XL on my Ranger but I really like that its quite and I really hate the sound of all the 4 cylinders with aftermarket mufflers I have heard and don't wanna take the chance of me not liking it.

I'm still on the hunt for a good ranger exhaust system that actually SOUNDS good. I'm convinced that the V6 engines weren't meant to sound good, just produce mediocre power.
