Really good work! I like your truck. What's the engine going to be? I'm partial to old stuff...such as the 429/460.

What engine

I am building a turbo 4 banger for it...it is a street truck...well kind of...head work... cam...bore/stroked to 2.7... all the good stuff...will still have AC and heat...sucks to sweat your ass off when you do your summer trips to shows and hot rod nites events...but I am doing a mod right now to reinforce the front frame section that will allow later on if I want to put in an early hemi, that has been in my reach for a while now, easy to ad the set up now than later...checked out your page ..you have some really good fab skills your self

I'm hoping to pick up a 2.3 that was built and run at the salt flats about 20 years ago. Apparently it held a record for a day, but that is also hearsay, It has a custom mechanical fuel injection system on it which I know absolutely nothing about. But it also comes with a carb and intake just in case....I will have some learning to do!

Had time over the weekend to get it back in...sure uses up a lot of engine compartment space...but will be worth it...still have a lot of compartment clean up to do

I want to feature this when it's done. I'd love to see it in person.

Been slow going but I am back at it...every gasser needs a moon tank wart on the front...making up brackets for mine...it will tuck and tilt back in a little since grille is just hanging there and not back on its mounts

Was able to get out into the shop today...made all the support brackets for my tank...cut my cross bar...last week I made the end caps for the center bar on my drill press, used two different size hole saws to make a step to center it and hold it to the center pipe... mounted it in an arbor and spun it on my drill pres and used a file to finish shape them....now its time to pull it apart and grind shape and polish every thing...make it pretty...I did have to cut the center out of the grill to get the tank back where I wanted it....I can live with it..

Well I am back at it...made some brackets that will help in the frame horn department...they go along side the frame and under as well...right at the weak spot near the cross member...made from flat stock...still have to make a pattern for the holes...also finished up the moon tank

I like the end cap idea, I'll have to remember that.

Been busy but I did do some thing crazy...to the truck.. I decided to go with a suicide front axle, still doing frame mods so the center section can support the truck with out bending or breaking...got it figured out I am making up brackets as I go had to make a new trans cross member to attach the split wishbones to sorry the pics are not better

Good to see you're still plugging away at this.
