Okay so i think i go tthe wiring down. All I found is that i need to connect on the 5 plug harness

-red/white
-red/blue
-pink
all together to complete the circuit to let it engage in 4low. Anyone confirm this?

Also is the plug thats on the passenger side of the m5od go for the reverse light?(guessing since the tail light bulbs are that color) If so what do I tap into to make them work.(not a huge deal but id rather have them working.

What is the plug on the driver side for anything at all. It came with the wires cut. Do I even need them.

Thanks

Not sure about the tc, but the 5 speed should have 2 plugs, one for neutral sensor, the other for reverse lights. It will run fine without them. You'll probably have the splice the wires for the NSS on the auto harness.

Bottom of page:

Cruise will be fine. Its not wired to that.

Or the reverse lights one wire gets 12v key on power, I used the switched wire for the ignition module, red with lt blue. Or u can use the "I" terminal on the starter solenoid(or test the 5wires in the a4ld plug and find key on power and use that), and the other wire goes to the taillight wire. Mine was purple with a stripe on it

You dont need to wire anything to the tranny to make it run. All you need to do is bypass the neutral safety switch from your auto. If the computer doesn't think its in park or neutral, it wont let you turn it over.

So i could get the Manual harness at the junk yard but not put it into anything. This would just already have the nns bypassed. Correct. I just want it to be done and quit messing with the wiring

You could get a maual ecu or just splice the nss wires together on your existing harness.

this wiring problem is just kicking me right in the nuts.I cannot get a damn thing.I went to the JY and got the harness. The wires seem to run between the fenders. Is there a way to tell if i have my wiring right but something else wrong. like jumping the starter. I will try anything at this point to get the damn thing running. I've been out there for 3 day and not a damn productive thing has got accomplished.

( I got the harness out of a 88xlt with auto tcase and fm146) basically the same thing I got.) Did I get the wrong harness???

Thanks.

Did you wire in the clutch pedal switch, or leave the bypass plug in?

No. I dont have the clutchpedal switch. I read that i didnt have to mess with it. I just could leave the cap on and run without it. I just wouldnt have to push the clutch into to start it.
