Hi, was helping a friend of my troubleshoot a no crank no start problem this afternoon and we couldn't make the thing run... I have narrowed it down to not getting signal to the starter solenoid when turning the start switch; batteries are good, and we can jump the starter solenoid and the crank will go but the diesel pump won't go, the pump is good too...

Anyone knows how to test the neutral safety switch? any other ideas on what else could be going on?

Any help is appreciated!!!!

Check the fuses under the hood for the glow plugs. If those lights don't come on it won't start. If all your fuses are good I'd look at the PCM. Did you recently work on it or put a chip in the computer?
