I have the option of a low stall or high still converter. What's the advantage of one over the other?

Converter stall is basically the RPM at which the converter is fully locked up even if the clutch isn't applied, and it will act like a mechanical connection.

A low stall will give good engagement at light throttle and tip-in, but may lug a smaller engine that likes to rev high. A high stall converter is good for engine like the 2.3 and 3.0 that make power up high, and also good for burnouts, but may seem laggy at take off.

Low stall, especially for a stock engine. The 4.0 is a torque motor, it will be better with a low stall.

Unless you want to burn off tires you want low stall on almost any street application.
