Ok, being that my cps has been squealing off and on for five years now, and I've been re-torquing my intake bolts regularly for three years, I've decided to get some things done, I will be doing push rods, cps, and of course intake gasket set on monday. Questions... Napa offers three different size push rods for my engine...5.42", 5.45", and 5.48"..does anyone know which is stock size, and are there benefits for running one of the other sizes? Also, the intake bolts..is a small dab of thread lock acceptable? I'm thinking maybe the green stuff? Any advice...especially from you tech guys & people who have actually done it..would be appreciated. 94 explorer, m5odr1, daily driver&then some, And proudly...252,000 with no oil leaks internal loss.
