I cant post a link from "the Chive" but I'm sure its on facebook and youtube too.
But anyhoo, therr's a front end loader with a 2ton rock in the bucket and these guys are trying to put this 2ton rock in a bone stock ranger ExtraCab. the resulst are hilarious and sad at the same time. you feel bad for the truck owner for a half second, then you realize he's an idiot.

go to TheChive.com or the app... the video is Called "Put the 2 ton boulder in my truck, just a pallet there first..."

Yeah, I was watching that last night. Those guys are retarded.

The owner of that truck spent the first three quarters of the video telling the equipment operator to be careful not to mess up his bed, and also telling him to put a 1700 lb rock in the bed of what looks to be a 4-cyl Ranger.

Went better than I thought it would, kudos to the loader operator.

I was waiting (forever it seemed like) for the rock to roll out of the bucket and wipe out the side of the bed.

I really wonder what the actual weight of that rock is. I've driven around (as a teenager) with about 1600 pounds of concrete in the bed of my old '86 and it did okay.

Me too. I thought the rock was going to roll out of the bucket and keep on rolling, Flattening the side of the bed, and in the parking lot.

You could hear the air hissing out of the rear tires too>
Probly gonna be a ranger for sale soon - " Needs Rear Shocks" is what the ad will say

But was it loaded all 1600 lbs. in less than a second. The size and weight of that rock would put any fullsize to the test. a trailer might have been a smarter choice.

No argument there - the drop makes it quite a bit worse. Still questioning the total weight of the rock. That thing's a monster.
