I'm in the middle of restoring my girlfriends grandparents 91 2.3L 5 speed Ranger, they're paying me for my time working on the truck at their persistence and are also paying for the parts that need replacing but they are not rich by any means and I would like to get this truck on the road without costing them an arm and a leg so I'm here for some advice. So far I've replace the 4 year old gas (which I had to siphon by mouth ), inline fuel filter, rear ABS sensor, rubber bushing for the shifter, rotors and bearing, ball joints, calipers, front end bushings, rear pads and hardware including new cylinders, and I've rebuilt the fuel injectors. Now it running just fine for a while, but idles too high and sometimes idles too high as well as idling rough at the same time. Has anyone here ever had this same problem? I'm stump by this one, please help.
