I have searched and can not find an answer. I have a 97 explorer 5.0, Aode w/ Awd t-case in a 94 ranger. I want to swap to part time manual shift t-case. Everything works and want to keep it that way but want to junk the awd t-case. What t-case will fit and use the exsisting wiring and speedo output? Thanks.

Borg Warner 4406 from an F150. If you search over at explorer forums you'll find a long discussion of the details of the swap.

Yep, that...

Some of the early F150's with that T case apparently had the speedo gear I think so probably '97-98 so you will have to crawl under and look... You will need different drive shafts, the rear output is splined in the output not in the shaft and the front output is a flange like the old rear output... In the Explorers it's a fairly easy swap with just some hammer work and cutting a hole in the floor (getting it in place requires dropping the gas tank some though).
