Is anyone running an aftermarket cam in a speed density Ranger. I'd like to install a new cam in my '86 EFI. It's .464 lift, .270 duration with 108 lobe seperation. I only have a vague understanding of how EFI works. Can it be done? What issues would it cause? No idle, not run at all?

I'm guessing the speed density system wouldn't like it at all. Also you would need upgraded valve springs with your cam choice.
