Pedestal bolt hole is the oil passage, same as that head bolt hole through the head is the oil passage
Oil pressure does come from center cam journal passages
Goes to the head bolt hole, you can see cavity on that one head bolt hole in the head and block on each side of the V6
Then oil pressure travels up center pedestal bolt hole and out along both sides of assembly
Image of block passage here: http://www.rndengineering.co.uk/ford_v6/ford_v6_images/ultimaxblock.jpg
Upper center bolt, you can see the oil passage hole
You can see elongated hole in head to match that here: http://www.alliedmotorparts.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/650x/040ec09b1e35df139433887a97daa66f/a/l/all12961-3_1280x851_.jpg
Lower center bolt hole
Then the previous picture I posted shows top of the head with oil passage at center pedestal from that head bolt hole
