Will pay 50-100$ for a good older working c3 trans from 80s ranger ,Mustang, pinto .I'm using for a Manual to Auto swap .
Will maybe offer little extra if the floor shifter and linkage is included .

Keep an eye on craigslist thats where I found mine. Be sure and install a new torque converter with a new seal!

The C-3 was a 2wd application only and bolted to both the 2.3 and 2.8 engines at least thats my understanding. Others here will know different. You can use the A4LD if you add a pressure switch for the OD lockout.

And that's without adding or needing any harness or a computer from an original a4ld ranger isn't the a4ld ran somewhat by pcm?
Mine is a 1994 2.3 with manual trans and computer

The OD lockout was controlled by the computer there is a wrightup here on how to add a pressure switch that locks out the OD solenoid. You can switch it manually but the pressure switch is the recommended application. The tech library will explain it better.
