Dropped the Escort GT seats that I've had in storage for almost a year into the B4000, but the seats don't have the hardware to connect the tilt lever on the seat to hook to the upper track's release lever so people can more easily get in the back. Thankfully it's not all jammed up and can be released as is, but I'm trying to find out what I could do to make the process of moving that short lever a bit easier.

Ideas?

Do your tilt levers on the side have the lower lever saying like lift on it or something? there are the basic ones that just tilt the seat and the other ones have the complex tilt lever. if you are just missing the connector rod that connects from the tilt lever to the release lever under the seat, I think I have a couple extras or you can find them at the junk yard. They are mostly in like Bronco II's and supercab rangers

No, the Escort seat's tilt handle doesn't have the portion to connect to the second slider's lever with the rod. I'm just wanting something other than a smallish piece of metal to push on to slide the secondary sliders, but I don't know what I could attach to facilitate this.

You could simply swap over the tilt assemblies from the old seats to the new ones... IF the bolts that hold them to the seats are the same sizes...

IF Not find a pair of seats in a 1986-88 supercab and rob the tilt assemblies off of them.

Another issue you are going to have is attaching the seat belt slider to the side of the seat...
(this is VERY necissary)
