If anyone has access to any of this information, I need to get it to add to the Tech Library. I have some information on the engine and transmission:

https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/pdf_documents/2019-Ranger-Tech-Specs.pdf

But I need more detailed information such as:

Axles used
Ring gear dimensions
Axle shaft size and spline count
Gear ratios used
Axle codes

Also, what transfer case is going in to this? I know 4LO is 2.717:1.

Anybody know what turbo Ford uses and how much boost?

Rear axle should be the Advantek Dana 44 (aka M220).

Once I get the truck, I can get some sticker numbers/plate ID numbers for you. Best I can gather at this point is that the front and rear axles are Dana AdvanTek 44s. No info what so ever on the transfer case.

Both 2wd and 4wd any gear ratio you want as long as it is 3.73 per the build your truck thing.

I ordered the 3.73 with locker on my truck but I could have sworn there was at least one or two other higher gear options. It’s been a while since I was on the builder app, so you may be correct.

I just checked for the 2wd and to make sure it wasn't a FX4 only thing (that is what my built previously) and the only options are open or locked.

You didn't by chance get any photos of the transfer case when you were under there did you?

Looks like I took three:
Not really surprising it is different than a F-150:

With a similar trans I didn't know how lazy they would be on the t-case. :dntknw:

Also of note the Ranger has a flange rear output, looks like the front is some kind of a CV joint.

It looks like it might the same hook up as what is on my 2011 to the front axle. I forget what they call it but I think “CV” is in the name.

I noticed the shift motor says made in Korea on it. Not sure if that means anything. Just and item of note.

I was just doing some searching online, and found that the 2016-2019 Chevy Colorado uses a Dana 46 rear axle, and Dana 32 front.

Dana 46: 8.5-Inch Ring Gear
Dana 32: 7.5-Inch Rear Gear

The Dana M220 has a 8.6-Inch Ring Gear and 32-Splines
The Dana M200 IFS has a 7.875-Inch Ring Gear.

Wonder how the M220 will compare against a 31 spline 8.8 :icon_confused:

it also says "scrap if dropped" :icon_rofl: I wonder if the same applies to bouncing off boulders?
