I have this problem too. For quite a while my high beams would just blink out when used. Then recently they will not turn on at all. Low beams & turn signals are fine but click to high & all goes black.

I Finally got around to fixing it. *its been snowing/raining* here and its sunny out today. I replaced the turnsignal switch and both headlights. They work! As for the heater switch, I got a new one and I don't smell that burning smell anymore. I'm in a good mood. I fixed my truck, with helpful knowhow and everything works.

Get some good sylvania halogen bulbs while your at it and with the new switch the high beam indicator should work also.
