Ok - I've gone through a ton of these threads and haven't found an answer yet.. maybe someone here knows...
I'm trying to de-clutter my engine bay and that big black box that used to house my A/C (I ripped that POS out didn't work anyway) is just a useless eyesore. Has anyone had any success with removing the big black thing and replacing it with something? - is there a non a/c box that is smaller at least? I checked my local junkyard and, as far as I could tell, all the Rangers/B's had the same big ugly box.
Thanks!!!!!

Many Gen I Rangers came without AC. The non-AC housing will bolt in place but, I believe that you will have to make a small panel to cover a section of the fire wall that the heater housing doesn't cover.

My credo
Love Thy Neighbor
My Ranger had A/C and I took everything out...and put in the heater box from my standard cab...fit perfectly...both were 88s though...
