Appreciate the pointers. Had Rust Repair Inc. In Castle Shannon do the cab repair. $435 Later, turned out beautiful and took 48 hours from drop off to pick up.

Their facial expressions were Priceless when they saw it, though. I thought they were quite literally going to pass out when they saw the bed. [emoji1787][emoji1787]

Next step is patch in the Raybuck floor and cab corners, then drench in rusty metal primer for the winter.

NO. YOU CANNOT BEHOLD THE GLORY WHICH IS THE SUBFLOOR OF MY CAB.

Yeah, as soon as I can crawl under it without getting soaked. Nonstop rain here.

Frozen icy stuff to boot.

I am so glad that I put the Expedition back together last night instead of waiting until I got off work today.

Same here at this point. Not looking forward to swapping my bed out today (for the Southern one I picked up with tailgate for $200 [emoji13]). Man I need a garage...

Pics of new mount should be today or tomorrow. Have the cab stripped to bare metal to lay down Noico deadener and to put in the seats I picked up out of a 2000.

Probably should post the 1991 seats I had in it for sale. Wound up with three sets, and really don't want to sell the original 1988 ones due to memories in this rust pile. [emoji849]

As promised.

They did alright overall. I'm happy with it. Strong as hell, and the way they rebuilt the support, it let's me weld my new floor in with little hassle.

As soon as the new floor gets here from Raybuck, pop out the bolt for the mount, weld in the new plate for the mount support, weld in the floor, and slather in POR 15. Then apply all of the noise barrier, because I swear to the gods if I have to keep listening to this input shaft bearing and leaky exhaust manifolds much longer, I'm buying a Kia...

Wait. Nope. Would rather go Amish before buying a Kia.

A little more work done by me to improve on the repairs already made. Cut out and salvaged the rubber mount, and patched in new plates for the cab mount. Probably will transfer more vibration than the factory ones, but, eh. At least it's present and accounted for now.

Please forgive my terrible welds - all I have for a welder at the moment is a 120v Chinese built Flux core mig. So, yep, looks like splattered crap, I know.

Still waiting on Raybuck to deliver my floor pan.

Make sure you check for water getting into that box behind the parking brake mechanism.

I had a seam seal leak below the windshield that let water into mine. It rotted out that box and then my floor.

Its weird your floor looks better than mine but my support was nearly perfect yet.
