Anyone on the forum own one of these. I have had mine for 20+ years in the middle of a slow restoration. mine is a 1987 with only 82K. Looks a little rough but mostly cosmetic. Just got two aftermarket fenders, I have a new grill, filler between the grill & Bumper and I put on a new front bumper. the interior is clean with the exceptions of the door arm rests. Of course it will need new chrome wheel well moldings and the rear bumper straightened out before paint and new decals or custom painted graphics. I posted in another forum about swapping the 2.9 for a 2.7 eco boost. That might or might not happen undecided if I want to go thru the trouble. According to an expert they made less than 300 of these even though there has been talk of up to 700 made.

Thanks, I have had this truck since the early 90s never driven it much it's been stored in garages here and there over the years. Just now finding the time to get it back into shape.

I hope you document your build [with pics too :D ]. I find that having a build thread really helps me when I'm a bit down, I look at my progress and am surprised at how much I've accomplished over the years.
I hope you do the eco-boost.
Good luck with your build.

Yes I still have the truck slowly working on it hopefully I will have it on the road this year. Just got a new set of fenders, a patch panel for the left rear wheel well. Needs a little body work. All the rest is cleaning and to fix a few small dents.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
Nice... any pics of the roll down rear window? That's what has always intrigued me about these trucks.

not the same guy, but im in the sanford area.

i actually found a bigfoot post recall in a junkyard here. it unfortunately was way too gone to save. but i got the bigfoot switch panel and the rear window out. no rollcage, but the brackets were still all attached to the bed.
