what to put a cam in my 99 5.0

Ok guys here a question i have a 99 5.0 in my 99 ranger its good but i want more....lol but i want to keep it fuel injected also whats the best for the money without haveing to to get all crazy

I put a 'B' cam in my 2000. You will need to change the injectors for bigger ones, and have it tuned.

I still have the stock injectors in and they are maxed out at WOT. I am switching to 24lb injectors pretty soon and then I will have to tune it again.

Sorry, I am slow to check back...

SCT tuner, my buddy has the software and does the tuning. I think he had to push the injectors up another 50% or something. Thus them being maxed out. You can removed the PATS and do all kinds of things. Not a bad deal in the end.

model of the SCT tuner? 3000 That is just the device to plug into your computer though, you still need someone to build you a tune.

I am working on a python script to run on a raspberry pi plugged into my truck computer that will monitor everything and then alarm if something is out of whack, but I don't have it running yet. It is amazing what all you can see with the SCT tuner and the monitoring software, which is free.
