Should fit with no problems. I'm running a 5.0 with qn np435 and np208 with no body lift, but a couple inches would have been nice to help tuck things up under better.

I just strippped a '91 of its engine, transmission, and transfercase.

Do you know what transfercase it has? I'm assuming it's a BW1356. Its a very wide transfercase. I believe you have to notch the frame a little to make it fit. Its a very strong and reliable tcase. Unfortunately its chain driven and it has a pump failure issue.

Assuming the 5spd is a m5od it will fit. If its a zf5 it will not fit without issues.

If it's a zf5, you will need a body lift.

With those numbers it is probably an M5OD.

Is the trans bottom rounded and solid, or does it have a big bolt-on plate on the one side?

lots of clearance with body up 3 inches even put the stock cross member back in its original spot im gonna use the mustang convertible motor mounts ordered the body lift too front drive line is gonna be a little tight but i think it will work already have the 8.8 rear under it getting a whole 93 explorer with a bad trans for 100 bucks to get the 35 front found the efi car intakes for 60 bucks at the boneyard its coming together pretty fast now that i got the clearance issue figured if i ever do another one ill start with a 3" body lift

I got the Stang mounts today was a bigger pain than the plates I built for my stock ones so I sent them back got a dual sump pan off a bronco I'm setting the motor in again now and that's a 1356 barely fits had to cut about an inch by inch notch in top of frame rail
