Soon I plan on pulling my 1994 2wd Ranger apart and 302 swapping it. I plan on running a carburetor for a while so I want to remove all unnecessary wiring in the engine bay. I don't plan on using stock gauges or whatnot, I just need basic lights and the normal "body" wiring so the rest of the truck functions as it should.

Can I just unplug the harness from the ECM and not have any issues? Are they separate harnesses or are they intertwined?

Thanks!

Ben

I'm pretty sure it's all one harness. At least on a 91 explorer. I see no reason for the 94 ranger to be significantly different...
