Radiator shroud interchange ?

I recently bought a 1997 Ranger ( 2.3, 5 speed ). it has some front end damage, and I'm about to head out to the local Pick'n Pull to get replacement parts.

What year radiator fan shrouds will fit my truck ?
What year front bumpers will fit ?

I found that Rock Auto had the plastic header that the headlights attach to cheaper than Pick n'n Pull . New headlights & turn signal lenses for a couple of dollars more, as well, but no radiator fan shroud.

Thanks for any help !

If you still have the shroud pieces, search for a FoMoCo part number. Once you have that, search the web.
If your old shroud was the 'partial' shroud only at the top, you don't really need it except to keep fingers and toes from getting hit by the fan blades.
If you get the measurements of your radiator, H & W, you should be able to find a boneyard shroud that will fit as long as it has the same dimensions where it is installed.
You might find the cross reference at car-part dot com, as they list multiple year replacements when you search for parts.

Thanks, Tom. The shroud was missing when I bought the truck. I believe it was damaged when the truck rear ended a larger truck - damage to the front bumper looks like it was center-punched by a trailer hitch. Airbag deployed - found a 96 with airbag and sensors. Someone had already grabbed the radiator and shroud out of it. The front bumper was also gone.

P.S. For any one else looking, Just did a search on CarId dot com - they show same part # for all 1995-97 Ranger shrouds, regardless of engine.
