i got a 97 ext cab, did the explorer 8.8 swap w/ explorer springs and than soon after swapped in a 1998 and up 1 piece driveshaft swap, right after the new driveshaft was in i started to get the worst case of death wobble, im pretty sure its coming from the rear not the front steering because when it shakes the steering wheels is normal and my stick shift vibrates violently until i slow waaaay down. i've never had this problem before with any of my lifted rangers, anyone know what could have caused this? thanks stu

Is the rear square to the front? Cause no reason for death wobble to come from the rear.

Only things that come to mind are, out of balance driveshaft, loose lug nuts, bent axle shaft, or it could possibly be dirt on the mounting surface for a rear tire, causing the tire to wobble.

Driveline vibes, but not Death Wobble... DW will make you crap your pants and the steering wheel all but rips out of your hands at speed. Not DW if your steering wheel didn't move...
