Some of you may know me from my post that i have an 88' Ranger that has a 2.0L in it and i have had nothing but problems with the reman engine I bought about 5 years ago. I almost sold the truck this year because it made me sick to look at it but after no one with any common sense wanted to buy it I decided I was going to rebuild the 2.0L engine.
Well after some thought I wanted more power so I was going to get a 2.3L Carburetor engine and stroke it and all that jazz. Then I scrapped that idea and now I am at my final decision I am putting the infamous Ford 2.3L Turbo engine in my 88' Ranger.
After Joining the www.turborangerforums.com I started my research by reading Tech articles and asking question on TRS and TRF. Then n2xlr8n contacted me and said he had almost everything I needed. I bought from him the block freshly bored for .030 Over Pistons, Head, Intake Manifold, Turbo Manifold (Gnari), Throttle Body, Valve Cover, Crankshaft.
