This is the start of my build thread.

I picked this truck up after I fell in love w my first B2.
Blew the engine shortly after I got it and have the 4.0 installed already.

Installed doors off an 88 that had manual windows cause I liked them.
The last truck will be the front clip donor that I'm getting soon. Will primer the truck when I get it all put together. More to come soon.

You've got alot of work ahead of you. How was the swap?
I know there is alot of work, but the body damage is just that, body damage.

Took Blue out for a test drive, it was awesome. :headbang:

It would get sideways when I hit the gas. It was definitely worth the frustration. I had a alot of time issues and picked a poor donor for the swap. I still have to swap in my manual t case (aw shucks), and swap the front sheetmetal, but the truck rocks to drive. TOTALLY WORTH IT.

The engine was the easy swap. Figuring out the harness was rough. When I do the swap in my other B2(TAN) I'll be looking for one with a 5 spd and is 4wd. My donor for this was a 2wd and led to a few problems. But I'm happy with the results.:icon_thumby:

This is where I grafted the new inner fenders on to the old. Needed the new core support and the driver side was destroyed.

This was the destroyed side alond w the hood.

This last improvement was sure to add HP.

Going to try to get it primered in the next couple of weeks.

At this moment, no. I don't have a welder. I'm going too see how it holds up.
I'll keep a close eye on it.

Starter wasn't a big deal, but then the fuel pump cut out on me. I think I have some wiring issues......... Now that I think about it, I know exactly where too.

What sucks is, the money I have to spend on other things keeps me from adding lift and better tires.

I'd like to at least rattle can it one color b4 winter sets in. Thinkin a nice flat black.

Got a grille mod in store for it too.

I only get paid once a month, Thinkin bout rattle cannin it then.
Need to install my manual t case too. I have everything to do it. Just trying to time it right.

Ex gf was borrowing my ext cab f150 and brought it back w/out brakes.

Was waitin on it to get back to tear into Blue.

On a side note. I'm painting the truck Flat black. But I'm thinking racin stripes.

Two ideas:

Orange ( cause I live in Stw)

Camo ( cause I think it would be cool)
