Just finished working on my 2005 Ranger. I put a new battery in it and changed out the water outlet and thermostat. Then I ran water with a hose inbetween The motor and The intake to clean off The antifreeze. The next day when driving it to work the truck felt like it was slipping on an oil spot in the road and regaining traction. It would do this a few times when accelerating. The next day after that it was bogging down when accelerating. After a couple seconds with the pedal to the floor it would stop bogging and you'd get full acceleration. I got home and the truck would almost die when tapping the gas pedal. Not so much fun with a stickshift. I plugged it in and it popped a whopping five codes! I've never had that happen before. These are the codes:
P0172 system too rich bank 1
P0175 system too rich bank 2
P0102 Mass or volume air flow circuit low input
P2196 02 sensor signal stuck rich bank 1 sensor 1
P2198 02 sensor signal stuck rich bank 2 sensor 1
I'm at a loss guys. Could some of my connections be messed up? Could my 02's and my MASS be bad? Any help is appreciated.
