I need some help figuring out what the noise is coming from my transmission is?
i got the truck last year, before i got it ,it had sat in a field for 4 years and did not run . I got it to run and drive , i have replaced the clutch, slave cylinder, and master cylinder, and changed the trans fluid. i drove it for about 2 miles and it started making and loud screeching or bearing noise from the trans , it happens in all gears, clutch in or out doesn't matter. after it sits for a few weeks it go away until i drive it again.

"A loud noise" is hardly descriptive.

Is it clunking? Whining? How does it shift otherwise? Is there an accompanying vibration?

It shifts fine and a very small amount of vibration
I picked up a 94 with a noisy transmission my Hank friend and I changed it out a few weeks ago it's quiet now! Noise was basically the same as yours.

My credo
vertical and above ground
Most likely suspect would be the throwout bearing. It rides on the 'fingers' of the clutch, and spins any time the engine is running. If it was lacking in lubricant after sitting for a long time, or the lube turned to foo, it could be screeching. Pressing the clutch pedal would just add more pressure on the bearing, and it may make no difference.
Other suspect would be the main input shaft bearing at the front of the transmission. With the clutch pedal released, it turns whenever the engine turns.
If you have the transmission in gear, engine running, sitting still(clutch depressed), does it make the noise? If so, its engine related or the TO bearing, as ALL other transmission parts are sitting still.
