Noob looking for some help.

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the console arm rest bracket from the arm rest :dunno:. The bracket has busted in half and I need to replace it.

Found some sources for the new bracket but could use some insight as to member recommended online parts suppliers as well.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I usually use a small Air powered recip saw (an IR I forget the model number)
and cut the steel shaft.

after that it comes right out.

If you want to avoid that you can either seek another armrest that's
already upgraded to the '93-up bracket(ford's name for it) at your
local u-pull-it.
