Been slowly chewing away at this as time allows... work has been busy and tired after work to get out and do stuff...

but slowly doing the last of the wiring and all the small stuff that doesn't make any pictures.... BUT.... here is the cab one step closer... seats in and console finished. wired up and ready to go.

changed the wiring a bit from before. there are 2 REM switches, 1for the power amp and 1 for the radio. then a separate wired in set of plugs for charging phones and stuff instead of the cig lighter, wired direct.

still need to wire in the fuel pump and finish off the fans get back brakes done and to the shop for a new drive shaft measured up.

cheers

wow they changed the layout of TRS... been a while since I been in here...

Yes a few things to update on. did a bit of work over the winter when the temp allowed to be out with out freezing fingers tips.... finished the fuel pump installation, finished 95% of all the wiring, placed on new locking handles for the cover, finished the passenger side door (hung with new hinge and carpet/new sill) still need to do the pass locks and mirrors. driver side ready to do the hinge pin and door/ sill. needs to go on trailer to drive shaft shop for measurement and fitment. needs back brakes / park brake. ... still need to finish the speaker covers along with the under tonnau lighting. shortened the tail gate straps at a wire/rope shop. to give the opened tailgate a angled look when open and to hopefully prevent people from trying to sit on it. finished the turn signal mods. (never did a re write up on it) should though for others to experiment. need to get angie to finish the new recovered door skins and get them on eventually. hopefully i can fire it up and drive it in a couple months. work is busy and days seem too short now from when we started this project.

cheers

After all these years.... IT'S ALIVE ...... Decided it was time to get this truck running and find some new motivation and get out and start enjoying life again....

What a better way than with a good mate and a weekend to redneck with tools... it was on trailer to his house with the intention of driving home.....

here it is rolling down the drive way into the barn.... cheers and its been a long journey... still a few things to do to get it 100% show worthy and road safe.... BUT it is ALIVE and sounds good, with a ton of power. didn't open it up for a madian trip. (not yet) lol

cheers

This truck was not running properly. Just couldn't get it to tune in. After checking the carb out that was on it (old one) that I thought was a 600 cfm, it turned out to be a 750. This was way to much carb, no wonder I couldn't get it to run properly no matter what was tried.

Here is the newest addition to this truck :) brand new out of the box... :) after resetting the springs and tweaking this up she purrs now. Might need to place in a smaller rod set yet though. will need to take this thing for a good 1 hour run to get all the bugs worked out yet.

cheers
