hey all!
new to the forum, just purchased a 1991 Ranger XLT 2WD with a 3.0l V6 and Auto Trans. I'm looking to make it into a mini/street truck. the plan is to do the DJM 3/4 lowering kit. I've poked around on here and saw some other members setups (the black Shelby cobra truck is killer), I printed off the wheel fitment guide from here, and I guess i'm still kinda lost. with the DJM kit I wanna use to go low, how big can I go? how wide can I go?
here are 2 examples of wheels and tires I like:

1) 16" x 7" with 0mm offset and a 225/50R16 tire
2) 17" x 9" with 0mm offset and a 245/45R17 tire

based on using the 3/4 low kit, will either one of these have any kind of clearance issues, will they rub on anything? do I need to get wheel spacers? any modification to the truck/wheel well or fender to make it work?

any help or advce/opinions are greatly appreciated! thanks
