In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I like your dash. Everything looks good. Can't wait for more details.

Chute Bracket

So here is some back pics. bracket being readied for welding...Hinge bracket bent up ready to go, took some torch work but it came out good...and its been bushed...so that the chute can be rotated up out of the way so tail gate can be opened with out removal...and a pic of the tail gate handle set up to move it inboard of the tail gate...painted with spray bed liner...love that shit

Some times shit just goes wrong

After spending hours air brushing this, the clear coat wrinkled and really messed it up...so removed it and started over same brands and type of paint but it wrinkled bad....I think the clear was to hot for the paint underneath....

Not as nice as the first...must been having a bad sugar day...I can always change it ....had to make it a double to cover up the damage to the original paint still needs to be blended

Parachute release lever

Made this up from flat stock and angle stock...handles came from Jegs and the cable and clip from a out board motor shop...had to figure out how much lever stroke was needed to release the chute...even if I can not use it on the street...total cost about $45 bucks and an afternoon to design and make...the holes really make it pop...love making shit like this

Seat frames

Since no one had what I wanted for the seats I was going to use...at least not at a reasonable price I made up my own extra heavy duty...cost for the pair was about $30 in materials ...flat stock and shallow channel stock for a seat capable of holding some one 300lbs. or more....since I am the only one driving it having them fixed is no problem....but they are tilted to where they are just right for me
