For $500, you can buy a truck that has a carburetor in it.

No need to screw up your engine.

How would that screw up his engine? Maybe he doesn't want to buy a new truck and keep the one that he has.

We don't know maybe he wants it for that reason because efi tuning requires computers which is a whole different level of knowledge. Maybe his there is alot of things wrong with the efi system and a carb setup is cheaper to replace.

In that case wouldn't three carbs be even cooler still?

PUTY There are no aftermarket Iskenderian or Summit manifolds for the 4.0 The main reason is that the engine doesn't really have a place in the market like the 302 Ford or 350 Chevy. They don't make what they can't sell a whole trainload of.

Are you having trouble with your Fuel Injection - Are you planning on building something hot, different, bigger, better . . . tell us what you are trying to accomplish.

You have an 89 Ranger - does it have a 4.0 in it or are you thinking of a conversion?

Yeah that EFI that runs smooth at all angles just isn't cool :icon_twisted:
Good luck getting the ignition system to work properly.

It is strange that they don't make any mention of that particular issue.. When you click on instructions, it just shows a picture. It would be interesting to see what that company has to say about it.
