Sorry for the weird title, but I wasn't sure how to ask it any better?

I have an '03 Ranger 4wd, that I plan on installing RC's 5" lift, with their recommended tire size of 285/70/17. No body lift will ever be installed on it. I need to know how tall the top of the truck cab will be?

The reason I need to know this, is I'm enclosing my carport and may only be able to install a 7 foot tall door. I had a plan to install a roof rack and Smittybilt tent on top of my camper shell, but have a feeling 7 foot isn't going to be high enough to do all of this?

Rough Country couldn't answer the question for me, so maybe one of you can? I'd appreciate it, if you know?

Thanks!

Thanks! I appreciate it! Doesn't look like I'll be able to install a roof rack then, at it's 6.5" tall. That's ok, I should have plenty of room in the bed/shell and behind the seats to carry whatever we'll need!

Thanks again!

PS It'll finally be taller than me, as I'm 6'5"

Measure how tall it is now... then apply some simple math to add lift... the difference in tire height... roof rack or whatever you want to stack up.

I actually was going to do that, but I cranked the front keys up a little bit a couple of years ago and added a little taller tire than stock. I know I lifted it 2" in the rear. Maybe 1.5" in front. I've also put 265/70/16 All Terrains on it.

I'm 6'5" and can see over the complete cab now. I don't think I'm a foot taller than it is, but I can always check.

I was just curious if someone on here knew the stock height/tire specs and went from there :)
