I have a 95 Ranger with a 2.3 5spd, has explorer 15” wheels and 235/75R15 tires. Lately the speedo moves and stays at 50. Yesterday it all of a sudden started working normally. Today back to 50. I replaced the trans speed sensor and the one on the diff. I don’t have a multi meter to further diagnose it and sucker is whooping my ass. I know others have had this same problem but I can’t find info on google. Stumped.

Could be that the needle is getting stuck, I had that happened on my 95 2.3, I soaked the thing with WD40 and it got better, it is still off below 30mph, but above that it works fine.
