Passenger side rear leaf spring bracket broken, driver side shackle broken.

I have heard that the only stupid question is, one that is not asked. So, I was just wondering if I could bolt the leaf spring right to the frame with a #8 grade bolt, bushing and washers or would it put enough stress on the front that they would break also? :dntknw:

OK. I think I figured out why that would not work. The spring would not be able to flex if both ends of the spring are solid. :beer:

Dear lord!! Lol. No don't do that. :icon_twisted:

Look at my build thread- I replaced all the hangers because they were rusting out. Get them online if you can as the local dealership robbed me, I didnt want to wait though.

If you dont have the brackets then the spring wont line up on the axle as well, dont think that would work out too well.
