Hey guys. I was driving around the other day and I noticed that my Parking lights don't work at all. But they work when the headlight switch is pulled all the way out. Headlights, Turn Signals, Reverse, Parking Lights and License plate lights work when the switch is pulled all the way out. Could my Headlight switch may be broken?

88' Ranger XLT.

The PO had a LUND Moonvisor with cab lights and it was wired to the headlight switch harness somewhere. I removed the visor and tucked the wires out of the way and cut the ends so they wouldn't touch anything to ground them out.

First thing I suggest is get a wiring diagram and find out which of the wire(s) connected to the switch power the parking lights. Then get a voltmeter and trace the voltage path through the switch.
