Rear brakes

I have a 2003 Ford ranger XLT short box. The rear brake are noting like the ones in my manual. Did ford change the rear brakes? Its a Haynes manual. Any help:yahoo:

The newer model years of the Ford Ranger had modifications and updates done to all of the vehicle. If your not the original owner they could be aftermarket and not factory calipers. It all is the same concept for replacing pads and such though

The Haynes manuals sometimes have generic pictures.
