I have a Belltech 2" kit for my '92. The back springs are essentially flat and are the 2/1 leaf 1100lb springs. I would really like to upgrade the load handling with what I can locate at the salvage yard.
I know Explorer springs will fit and likely give a couple inch lift over stock. Are the belltech brackets front or rear? If so, is there anything I can do to lose those 2" and get my 2" of drop?
Would I be better to add a leaf?
The truck won't usually get loaded down, but It would be nice to be able to carry a few hundred lbs when needed without killing the ride.
