hello everybody, i am having issues finding the correct plate for my zf-5 speed transmission. the one i grabbed from my local junk yard rubbed. before i cut this one apart and weld flat metal in i would just like to get my hands on the correct plate. if anyone could point me in the right direction id appreciate it! finding this damn plate has been an issue from the beginning. would a plate from a standard manual out of an f-series work? zf's for small block fords around here are pretty hard to come by and nonexistent at the junk yards.

mayb have figured it out. just ordered one for a 164 tooth flywheel on ebay. the holes measured out the same so it should work. the plate is just flat. if anybody ever has this issue just make sure you get these measurements, and the plate is flat with no indents to contact the flywheel.

The first plate you posted is for an automatic trans. The bottom part is cut out for an access panel to get to the bolts on the torque converter.

Would think any SBF plate for a any manual and 164T flywheel would work.
