Ranger, manufactured in June 1987, 2.9L. It has it's original cylinder heads, from what I can tell. Just passed through 300,000 miles.
I have either blown a head gasket or a cracked head. One thing I'm sure of, coolant is entering the cylinder(s). Has anyone used the castings from Clearwater Cylinder Heads, http://www.cylinder-heads.com/details.cfm?itemid=1864 ? Are they like the revised head casting from Ford? Original North American casting? Euro casting? In case I need to replace the heads. I can't budget the World Products heads. What is my best option for a bolt on replacement?
Bar's Leaks has gotten me home, twice. Truck is now parked.
