Hi i have a 1997 ford ranger 4.0l 5 speed (i do believe its the M50D-R1) 4x4. I was recently stuck in the snow so i turned on 4x4 and after i turned the lockouts on, i put the truck in reverse and the whole truck shook and acted like it tore something up. Now whenever i drive it makes a whining/grinding noise going to and while driving in all forward gears. I'tll go into all 5 forward gears but when i put it in reverse and let out on the clutch a nasty grinding noise is made and it will not move in reverse. What seems to be my problem. i'm new to the forums. thanks in advanced!:headbang:
