Modifications

This Bronco II features a custom suspension lift using 4-inch springs and coils with custom built drop brackets.

The Bronco II is powered by a Ford 302 from a 1988 Lincoln Towncar and is backed by a C-6 automatic transmission and NP208 from a 1982 Ford Bronco.  The V8 is cooled by a custom radiator made for about $200.

To route the power, the owner shortened the rear 1982 Bronco driveshaft and added a 1330 flange that mated up to the 7.5-inch axle.  The front driveshaft is mostly from the front of an F-250.  It's small in diameter, and just barely clears the radius arm crossmember.
